Our goal is to create a broad range of educational content and programs to accelerate the knowledge and skills of those curious or frustrated by the current state of healthcare in America.
Advocates for Healthcare is a group of like minded individuals with diverse backgrounds who have seen first hand the challenges that make the American healthcare system low performing and incredibly expensive. Our expertise encompasses decades of experience in healthcare and insurance, finance, and in academia.
Advocates partners with major Universities all over the country to build educational content that fills important gaps in the course content existing today.
Our first course is centered around patient advocacy topics. It teaches concepts such as consumer protection laws and how they relate to healthcare services, price negotiation, and important insurance and coding terminology. A student who takes the course and completes the certification will be well armed to then put those practical skills in use immediately or build upon that knowledge in marketing, analytics, clinical, or public health fields.
Advocates for Healthcare seeks to align ourselves with other companies and organizations who share our mission to make a positive impact in healthcare. This means improving quality and access, reducing cost, and increasing cost transparency of healthcare.
